Another fun fact about the Wall is that Gerald Scarfe, the cartoonist responsible for the animated aesthetic of the film, was also the production designer behind Disney’s Hercules.
The Wall’s DVD commentary is one of my favourites because it’s Roger Waters and Gerald Scarfe together, and being able to listen to one of your favourite musicians and one of your favourite cartoonists just sit around and shoot the shit is a rare privilege.
